Two years ago padel in Pattaya meant one indoor hall on Pratumnak Hill. Today there are four clubs and fifteen courts spread across the city, two of them on Playtomic, and enough evening Americanos that you can land on a Tuesday with no partner and be playing by Wednesday.
If you play at home, you already have the app. If you have never held a racket, two of the clubs will put one in your hand and have you rallying inside an hour. Either way, here is every court in town, what it costs, and which one to pick for the weather you will get.
We have played at Prime Padel and at Pattaya Padel Club. Both are properly built, well-kept courts — the kind you would be happy with at home, not a surface somebody improvised behind a bar.

Every price is for the court, not the player. Four of you on a 600 THB court is 150 THB each — which is roughly what the Grab there costs.
Prime Padel — Sukhumvit 41
Four panoramic courts, all under cover, with a proper clubhouse: café, pro shop, a racket test centre, lockers and changing rooms. It sits on Sukhumvit Soi 41 in the north of town, which makes it the easiest club to reach from Naklua, Wongamat or anywhere along Second Road.
Prime opened in spring 2026 and is the club with the most structured calendar. The week we checked had an open-play session on Saturday morning (three hours, 400 THB, twenty places), an intermediate Americano on Monday evening and a beginner-friendly one on Thursday, both 600 THB. Coaching is led by Joan Pou, a Spanish pro coach — group classes run 700 THB for an hour with four places, and a package of five private lessons is 10,000 THB.
- Court: 800 to 1,200 THB per hour depending on the time of day. Playtomic shows the live price for the slot you pick. For a real number: our last hour there came to 1,400 THB all-in, court plus three rented rackets — 350 THB a head with four playing

Chilli Padel — Jomtien
The biggest club in town and the one built most deliberately as a club rather than a court rental. Six glass courts: five roofed with fans, one open-air. There is a bar and kitchen courtside, a pro shop, and an event on the calendar every single evening — social Americanos at 18:30 for 600 THB, with higher-level fixed-team events at the weekend.
Chilli is the club to pick if you are arriving alone. Their whole model is matchmaking: turn up without a partner and they slot you into a community group or an Americano at your level. Never played? Book the 90-minute intro session and a coach walks you through it. Two pro coaches, Sotiris and Warren, teach in English, Thai and Russian; a two-hour group class is 800 THB.

Pattaya Padel Club — Mabprachan Lake
Out by the lake in East Pattaya, which means two things: a view across the water while you play, and the cheapest daytime court in the city. Three courts, two of them roofed. Coaching from a PADELMBA-certified coach, a pro shop, drinks, and events several times a week.
The pricing is the story here. Between 10:00 and 16:00 a court is 600 THB; before 10:00 and after 16:00 it is 800. If your schedule allows a weekday morning, nowhere else in Pattaya comes close — and the lake at 09:00 is a considerably nicer place to be than most of the city.
Not on Playtomic. You book by WhatsApp, which works fine but means no live availability — message a day ahead for evenings.

Play Padel — Pratumnak
The original. Their claim is the first padel courts in Pattaya and the first indoor courts in Thailand, and whatever the order of arrival, it remains the only fully air-conditioned hall of the four: two courts under an 11.5-metre roof with six AC units each. In April, when the outdoor clubs are unplayable between noon and four, this is the answer.
It is the simplest of the four — courts, rackets, two licensed coaches, a pro shop — without the bar and event calendar of the others. That is not a criticism; it is a place to hit, and it does that well. Rackets rent for 100 THB an hour, demo models are free for the first fifteen minutes, and private coaching starts at 600 THB an hour, the cheapest in town. A membership at 1,000 THB a month knocks 100 THB off every hour, so it pays for itself past ten hours.
Two things to know before you book. The location on Kasetsin Soi 3 means car queues on long weekends, so allow time. And the clock starts at the reserved hour whether you are on court or not — the club’s own recommendation is that whoever turns up late compensates the other three.

Booking: Playtomic and the Rest
Two clubs — Prime and Chilli — are on Playtomic, the app most European padel players already have on their phone. That means live availability, instant confirmation, and the social calendar in the same place: Americanos, open play and group classes all book like a court does. If you are here for a week and want games without messaging strangers on Facebook, Playtomic at either club is the shortest path.
Pattaya Padel Club books by WhatsApp and Play Padel direct through their site. Both are responsive, but neither shows you an availability grid, so message a day ahead for anything after 16:00.
Playing Alone
This used to be the problem with padel in Pattaya: four courts and no way to find three other people. It is not the problem any more.
- Chilli runs a social event every evening at 18:30, 600 THB, sixteen places, and matches solo players into groups by level
- Prime has Saturday open play at 11:00 — three hours, 400 THB, twenty places — plus weekday Americanos at 600 THB
- Pattaya Padel Club runs events several times a week; ask on WhatsApp what is on
Bring your Playtomic level rating if you have one. Both Playtomic clubs gate their events by it, and being honest about a 2.5 gets you better games than claiming a 4.

Heat and Rain
Pattaya’s two problems for an outdoor racket sport are March to May, when midday courts are an endurance event, and roughly June to October, when a 17:00 booking can turn into a swimming pool at 16:45.
- Fully indoor, air-conditioned: Play Padel only
- Roofed: all four of Prime’s courts, five of Chilli’s six, two of Pattaya Padel Club’s three
- Open sky: one court at Chilli, one at the lake
In hot season, either book Play Padel or book the outdoor clubs before 10:00 and after 17:00 — which is also when their evening events run, so that is the natural rhythm anyway. In rainy season a roofed court is enough for the game itself; it is the walk from the car that gets you.
What It Actually Costs
A visitor playing three times in a week, splitting courts four ways, racket rented:
- Court share: 150 to 300 THB per session
- Racket: 100 THB per hour at Play Padel; Prime and Chilli rent too, and Prime has a test centre where you can try before you buy. An hour at Prime with three rented rackets cost us 1,400 THB in total, so budget around 350 THB a head if nobody brings their own
- An evening Americano: 600 THB, which includes two hours of matched games
Call it 1,000 to 2,000 THB for a week of padel, before drinks.
Where to Stay to Play
- Prime Padel — north of the centre: Naklua and Wongamat are closest
- Chilli Padel — Jomtien, ten minutes by baht bus or Grab
- Pattaya Padel Club — East Pattaya residents have it on the doorstep; from the beach it is a 20-minute drive
